Welcome to the OPL Blog

We've been making music together for a while now, and for most of that time the work has lived in two places - the studio and the stage. What's happened in between has largely gone undocumented.

That changes here.

This is our space to write things down properly. Not the polished version you see on socials, but the actual process - what we're working on, where we're playing, what's coming next, and occasionally the technical stuff that goes into building a live electronic set.

Right now feels like a good time to start. We've got new music coming in the next few months, shows lined up across Scotland, and plenty more in the pipeline. There's a lot happening, and we'd rather share it somewhere that gives it room to breathe than try to squeeze it into a caption.

What you can expect here:

• New music and release news, usually before anywhere else

• Updates from live shows and what's coming up

• Studio and production insight - Ableton workflows, live rig decisions, the kind of thing that doesn't fit neatly into a reel.

We'll also be building out more production and music-making content over time, so if that's your thing, it's worth keeping an eye on.

The best way to stay in the loop is the mailing list. We keep it straightforward - nae spam, just the stuff that's actually worth knowing about. Early access to releases, show announcements, and the occasional longer read from this page.
